HISTORY
Bruce Lee studied many avenues in the martial arts, but he stuck to a combination of three styles. Mr. Lee combined modified Wing Chun, fencing and western boxing.
Many are confused, thinking that Jeet Kune Do is an eclectic hodge-podge or melting pot of individualized styles, but that is very far from what Bruce taught.
Jeet Kune Do is the Ultimate Reality in combat. When broken down, Jeet Kune Do relies on four basic principles to express this "Philosophy in Motion":
(1) Simplicity
(2) Economy of Motion
(3) Longest Weapon, Nearest Target
(4) Always Think 0f Hitting
